Set on a 627 hectare farm, we are the leading specialist university tackling the future development of our planet's food production, processing, animal sciences, engineering, land management and sustainable business. All of our courses include a 12 month placement year where you really do get to apply the practical and theoretical knowledge gained on campus and gain the vital industry experience before you graduate. This placement year equips students with experience and skills and when coupled with the teaching on campus it resulted in a 98.8% graduate employment rate (Graduate Outcomes, 2020) for our students. 

Harper Adams University is based in the rural heart of Shropshire, England. We are a vibrant campus-based institution, so everything from our state of the art facilities, to the farm, Students' Union to halls of residence are in one place!

The campus has a fantastic range of facilities to aid your learning on campus. You have access to lecture theatres, seminar rooms, dedicated engineering labs, state of the art labs,  working commercial farm, brand new veterinary building with clinical and teaching spaces, animal companion house, food academy with a sensory suite, onsite pub and students' union building .. the list goes on.

Near campus you have the local town of Newport, which has everything you need from supermarkets to pubs and shops. You can also venture off to Telford (20 minutes), Shrewsbury (30 minutes), Birmingham (1 hour) and Liverpool (1 hour 15).
