School Enterprise Initiative

Royal Three Counties Show

In previous years we have welcomed two Gloucestershire schools to The Royal Three Counties Show to sell the products from their school enterprise initiatives.

Many schools start up school enterprise initiatives, sometimes under the banner of the Young Enterprise scheme, as an extra curricula exercise for their business studies students. Typically, these businesses start and finish within one academic year, so the Royal Three Counties Show, in June, is ideally timed for them to being their final product to market.

If you are a teacher who coordinates either a Young Enterprise scheme or similar, and are interested in joining us at future shows (for free) please email Jayne Unwin for further information and download the School Enterprise Initiative Information Sheet.

Case Study

Whizz Confectionery, from Tewkesbury School, produced a range of milkshakes and smoothies for sale at the show. Supported by sky-high temperatures and a well-priced product, the team from Tewkesbury School were able to donate £550 back to their school at the end of the academic year.
