Three Counties Careers Fair Terms and Conditions

  • Financial support may be available to offset the cost of bringing students to the Three Counties Careers Fair, on the 24 January 2019 (‘The Event’) only.
  • The first 10 schools to register online will be eligible to claim back up to £500, to be used towards paying the costs of additional transport, if over 100 students are brought to the event. If under 100 students (minimum 10) are brought then up to £250 can be claimed.
  • The second 10 schools to register online will be eligible to claim back up to £250 to be used towards paying the costs of additional transport, if over 100 students are brought to the event. If under 100 students (minimum 10) are brought then up to £125 can be claimed.
  • Payments will only be eligible against transportation costs associated with hiring coaches to attend the event. The use of mini-buses, cars, or other vehicles that a school may own, or have on long-term hire, is not eligible for claiming financial support.
  • When determining the eligibility for the different levels of financial support available, only the students arriving to the event on hired in transport may be counted. Students arriving by mini-buses, cars, or other vehicles that a school may own, or have on long-term hire, are not eligible to be included in the head count.
  • Financial support will be paid by cheque to the eligible schools after the event, after the Three Counties Agricultural Society receives a copy of the transport invoice. Payment will be made to the school and not directly to the transport company. The school will remain responsible for paying the transport company’s invoice, in line with the agreed terms as set by the company.
  • Where a transportation invoice is for less than the value that a school is eligible to claim then only the value of the invoice will be paid to the school.
